Chick-fil-A™ Hosts ‘Spirit Day’ For HCI

HCI Spirit Day

Healthy Communities Initiative (HCI) supporters recently enjoyed a delicious fundraiser at the Granite Run Mall Chick-fil-A™ restaurant. Participants were able to skip cooking, socialize with community members, and raise funds for the non-profit organization. Having fun with the “Chick-fil-A Cow” (from left, clockwise) were Amelia Durnell, Yamilka Lennon, Dana Riker Jackson, Janet Hannum, Skye Sjaarda, Lexi Duncan, and (back, left) Mary Ann Del Rosario. Proceeds benefitted HCI’s Power of ONE, an annual fundraising event for the community that highlights ongoing programs, including the Partners in Excellence™ Mentoring Program and the HCI Optimist Club at Penncrest High School, Parenting Partners Workshops and the S.P.O.T. Network (Supervised Programs Organized for Teens). Support for programs is also provided by the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health, Division of Drug and Alcohol. For more information, visit www.hcicares.org, email Janet.HCI@comcast.net, or call 484-442-8532.
